Start College Planning Today! Many families are wondering when their children need to start working towards college. Anytime is a great time to start. It is critical that students realize that whatever grade they are in, there is a plan for them to go to college. All students need to decide what they want to study in college . Utilizing assessments and researching possible careers is a great starting place. From there, the student can select a major and the best school for them to complete a major. At that point, the student can apply for admissions and financial aid. These are steps everyone must go through to go to college. Depending on what grade a student is in determines how these steps are executed . What classes should a student take? What clubs or organizations should they join?
